This is the plain-language version we operate by while ClipForge is in beta. A full counsel-reviewed version will replace it before public launch. Questions? Email support.
What we collect
Your account email and name, the channels and source links you set up, the clips and captions the pipeline produces for you, and payment metadata from Stripe. We never see or store your card number; Stripe handles that end to end.
Who touches your data
We run on a small set of processors, each doing one job: Supabase (database and auth), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (caption rewriting), Apify (source scraping), AWS (media storage and rendering), Vercel (the web app), Fly.io (the processing worker), Ayrshare (publishing to your linked social accounts), and PostHog (product analytics and session replay, hosted in the US). We do not sell your data or share it with anyone outside that list.
How long we keep it
Source videos are deleted after 90 days, rendered clips 30 days after you last access them. Account data stays until you ask us to delete it. Email support from your account email and we will export or delete everything tied to your account.
Cookies and analytics
The cookies that keep you signed in, plus product analytics and session replay through PostHog so we can see how the app gets used and fix what trips people up. Analytics traffic is served first-party through our own domain. We do not run ad pixels and we do not sell your data.
Session replays are masked: everything you type (captions, emails, payment fields) and any on-screen amounts or clip content are hidden before the recording leaves your browser, so replays show how you move through the app, not the words or numbers on the screen. Payments run entirely on Stripe, so we never see or record card details.
